Honestly, I was never very good at introducing myself. But I’m not sure a copywriter should be.

Some people say I’m weird, some people say I’m quirky. Some people say I’m quiet, some people say I’m loud. I sometimes eat too much ice cream. Brainfreeze. I struggle to contain thoughts and ideas, so I scribble them out any way I can. Also, I failed at math in high school. Thank god.

I’ll write more than I’ll talk. Copywriter since 2019.

Published writer, working on my fourth novel.

Reviews:

Återkomster:

“An attempt at understanding fear, what it does to people, how it enters and changes relationships.– Aftonbladet

“[...] A potent novel that carries a resilience toward its contemporary peers.” – Dagens ETC

The Eighth Continent:

En epic journey in the footsteps of the syrian refugee crisis.”Aftonbladet.

“Ravaged tents, brutal despair, the violence of the military, regular people capitalizing on the crisis – but also small moments of something similar to happiness – are portrayed unsentimental, smart, and effectually. Yousefi is skilled, the events he depicts are terrifying and the depiction is gripping.” Expressen.

“Yousefis book can hopefully make some readers open their eyes – or even their hearts – for the millions of people who still do not have a home on any of our continents.”

Svenska Dagbladet.

“Yousefi embraces a paratactic approach where the fragmental images depict a subjective portrayal, while at the same time managing to avoid sensationalism or sentimental identification.” – Dagens Nyheter.

“Yousefi does something so rare as to take artistic risks, like daring to demand the reader to actually read. In addition to that, he’s written a very good book.”Göteborgs Posten.

Currently working on fourth novel.
